'Negotiating AI in Spanish Heritage Classrooms: Ethics, Identity, and Emotional Resilience’. Ana co-presented with Blanca Peraza, and non-presenters were Lucas Ruppel Cane and Angelica Gonzalez. The presentation was about the implementation of Politics of Artificial Intelligence in Spanish heritage language classes.
Jonathan presented on the panel Thinking with Plants and Animals Through Latin American Texts, which served as the formal launch of the book Plants and Animals in Latin American Cultural Production (University of Florida Press), co-edited by Cristina E. Pardo Porto and Oscar A. Pérez. Jonathan's peer-reviewed chapter focuses on yerba mate and combines an analysis of the contemporary documentary Raídos (2016) with ethnographic fieldwork conducted in yerba mate plantations in the Triple Border region of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay.

He says "Presenting at LASA was a valuable chance to share and refine the analytical system I’m developing for my dissertation while connecting with scholars from different fields/ The experience helped me think more clearly about how to apply my framework and left me feeling re-energized about the project.
Jannet presented "Las trampas de escolaridad femenina decimonónica peruana" at LASA San Francisco 2025.She said: "The conference was a valuable boost to the writing of a section of my dissertation, as it gave me the opportunity to share my ideas in such a prominent setting. It was also very inspiring to listen to presentations that deeply resonated with my research interests".
Chandler presented his paper "Dentro o Fuera?: Analizando la vision cosmopolitica del narcotraficante mexicano a traves del narcotestimonio," at the University of California, Irvine Mexicanistas Conference May 1-3, 2025 in Irvine, California.
He described his experience: "Presenting at UCI Mexicanistas was an incredible experience! Not only was I able to workshop a proposed chapter for my thesis, I also got to spend time with some of the brightest minds in the field, not to mention some of the nicest people I have ever met."
