Julissa presented "Memoria cultural como resistencia a la necropolítica: justicia alternativa y empoderamiento subalterno en La Llorona" at the XLII Congreso Internacional de Literatura y Estudios Hispánicos in Mallorca, Spain (10-12june 2026).
"As my first international conference, this was a deeply rewarding experience. The community was incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home. I learned a great deal from fellow presenters, received essential feedback on my presentation, and loved connecting and sharing ideas with colleagues who have similar research interests."
