PhD Candidate Jonathan Jeremias Peralta presents at the Graduate Conference at Yale University
Presenting at “Entre Lugares” Graduate Conference at Yale University titled,“Como historia de telenovela: evangeliquismo y telenovela en el Brasil contemporáneo”
J.J. says about his experience: "I had a great time networking, talking about my research and also about the current humanities situation not just here, but all over the world (several literature schools in the UK were shut down last year). A lot about these conferences is to have the determination to get to know people, to introduce yourself, and to have the interest and curiosity to learn about different areas of investigation that are being developed in different universities in the US. One of the colleagues that was presenting about a Brazilian topic came to ask me if I was interested in writing an article with her, because our researches have some points in common. These conferences can help to create a great space to expand our intellectual and academic circles.
